TermRunner is an add-in to Microsoft Word, which means your document is analysed on your device, not in the cloud. To help understand how people use TermRunner, we do collect some document metadata, such as document size and number of defined terms, but no actual document text.
1. Collection of Personal Information
Upon registration of your account, your personal details will be collected by Pagemap and stored for the purposes set out in clause 4 below.
2. Data Security and Storage
Pagemap takes the security of data very seriously to ensure its integrity. Pagemap follows generally accepted standards to protect your information, both during transmission and once we receive it.
Pagemap support staff cannot access users’ documents.
4. Use of Personal Information
Your personal information in the course of using Pagemap may be used to:
- provide and improve our service,
- better understand your needs and interests,
- personalise and improve your experience
- monitor and analyse
useof our service
- increase our
service’sfunctionality and user-friendliness, and
- provide or offer software updates and product announcements.
In providing the Service, Pagemap utilises “cookies”. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on Your computer for record-keeping purposes. A cookie does not identify You personally or contain any other information about You but it does identify Your computer.
We and some of our affiliates and third-party service providers may use a combination of “persistent cookies” (cookies that remain on Your hard drive for an extended period of time) and “session ID cookies” (cookies that expire when You close Your browser) on the Website to, for example, track overall site usage, and track and report on Your use and interaction with ad impressions and ad services.

Where Pagemap believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
- comply with a law or compulsory legal request; or
- protect the safety of any person from a serious and imminent threat to life or health; your data may be provided to the relevant law enforcement agency.
Your non-private, aggregated, or otherwise non-personal information, such as Pagemap service and usage statistics may be disclosed by Pagemap.
7. Correction of Information
As a registered user, your personal information can be reviewed and revised through your “account settings”.
8. Data Retention
Your information will be retained by Pagemap for as long as your account is active or as needed for Pagemap to provide you services. Your account may be deleted by contacting Pagemap. Your information will only be retained where necessary to comply with Pagemap’s legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Upon request, Pagemap will delete your information as soon as is practicable. Please note
